Ahhh that was a really fun read! I'm 100% aware of the video-game nature of our behaviour as explorers. The most direct comparison I have is metal gear solid's insistence on stealth rather than guns a' blazing action, which comes in handy for those lone security guards but makes me wonder if I could ever cope with a full on security setup.

I also love the way in which you've injected your imagination into your explore with the story and photo captions. Really nice. I am writing an urbex short story at the moment but I'm finding fiction writing a million times harder than non-fiction.
